The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the plant/field including but not limited to generating and processing paperwork, including manifests, maintaining logs and communicating required reports to the appropriate departments.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Keep track of daily operations paperwork needs
Create and track purchase requisitions & Purchase orders
Quality Assurance, as needed, of labels, waste manifests, and all other associated paperwork
Assist with outbound & Inbound transportation
Perform necessary data entry & record keeping activities
Maintain and update current database and files
Manage and distribute information in an administrative office environment
Manage the office phone; Answer and reroute all phone calls that come through
Maintain and organize all company documents and employee files
Create and distribute all interoffice memos
Run required reports for the facility
Complete all other administrative duties as assigned
Basic Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
2 or more years of administrative experience working in operations environment
Demonstrate strong computer skills
Demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, and Outlook
Willing to learn new platforms, Oracle, SEMS, Safety Skills and others
