Responsibilities for the role include

  • Be part of our engineering team and work under the direction of engineering/technical manager.

  • Assist with the assembly and testing of equipment and systems prior to shipment at our facility, including mechanical assemblies, electrical wiring, and hydraulic tubing.

  • Perform FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) to ensure equipment meets or exceeds our quality standards.

  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and hydraulic schematics with the assistance of a project engineer.

  • Ensure safe work practices are upheld and take part in the safety committee meetings/tasks assigned.

  • You will be working in our warehouse/workshop, including:

  1. Maintaining inventory needed for assembly.

  2. Procurement of new tools and parts for assembly.

  3. Keeping the workshop clean and organized.

  4. Preparing and packing parts for shipment.

  5. Operating a forklift and assisting with shipping and receiving.

  • Experience working with mechanical/electrical machinery in a manufacturing environment.

  • Have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Excel and Word.

Organization, efficiency and attention to detail skills.

  • Ability to perform in a team-based environment while being self-motivated.

  • Willingness to comply with all company safety and personnel policies.

  • Willingness to complete Safety training (OSHA) as required.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.

  • Ability to communicate professionally with various people throughout the organization.

  • Ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds, climb ladders, work at above average heights and occasionally work in hot or cold work places.

  • Ability to operate a Forklift and gantry crane (additional training provided)
